Which springs with Tokicos?

I’m gonna get Tokico adjustables ($400), but which springs to match up?

I can get Tokico springs(they come with the shocks) for $485

OR

I can get Eibach prokit springs for $225.

I know the Eibachs are well recommended(I did the search), but does anyone know about these Tokico springs? Are the eibachs worth an extra $140?

You have to figure that the Tokico springs were designed to work with the Tokico shocks. The nice thing about the Illumina is that you can adjust it to work with just about any spring you get.

I’d say save the money and get the Tokico kit.

I have the Tokico illumina’s w/ the SportLine springs from Eibach… and i have to say they are sweet!!! i think its the strut alone that does the job but wow she loves the corners.

As I understand it, springs support the car, shocks/struts dampen the recoil of the spring; they do almost opposite of each other to keep the tire on the road. So they both matter, but in different ways.

How much lower did your car get? How did you set up the illuminas?(they have 5 different settings, I think). Any chance you could post a pic?

Correct. FYI, the Sportlines are lower than the Pro-Kits.

Thanks, i missed that; i’m looking at the pro-kit ones if I go eibach.

Is a camber kit necessary, or recommended, for this amount of drop? (1.4in. front-1.8 in. back).
