that’s what i thought… this is strange why several people say that their “stock” tegs lock/unlock with ignition. unless that was an extra feature added on…
Perhaps some of the previous owners rewired their systems tolock/unlock with the ignition?? This is dead easy to do and should have been a factory standard. If anyone is interested, I’ll see if I can pull together some schematics.

btw… if you are adding aftermarket actuators, I HIGHLY reccomend paying an extra $20 and getting a decent set. Sure you can get them for $8-$12 for the two but they will bite it down the road. I have had the DEI actuators in for almost 4 years now with no problems whatsoever. The only issue is that these units are kinda bulky and mounting them is an excercise in creativity. We used a mini air saw and ‘made some room’ on the metal skin.
