I picked up this manifold and was told it was for ALL bseries motors
but the damn thing wont bolt on right…any suggestions?

All B-series Exhaust Manifolds have the same pattern. It may have warped when he removed it, possibly by doing it in the wrong sequence while warm. Put a straight edge on the head flange to see if its straight. Those manifolds are somewhat known for that.

How off is it? just a tiny bit? If so prolly just warped. If it’s way off, maybe it’s not a b series manifold and is a D series.
is it just me or are the manifolds not to be wrapped with thermo-wrap? I was told that when that is done, the mani retains the heat and is more prone to cracks, and warps. I have heat wrap but I got my manifold thermo-coated so I wouldn’t run into those problems. could that be the base of the problem if it’s not the other 2 above?
its for b series it came off a b16…the previous owner told me he had to tap on it with a hammer to get it fit right.
I guess i’ll just break out a drill and try to smooth out the holes alittle to see if that works.
Def check that flange, even if you get it on chances are it will not seal properly. Any machine shop can take a few thousandths off that to make it flat.
