ok, i’ve searched but all I found is that the RS*R catback is one of the most quiet exhaust… but here’s my prob, I have headers, cat HI-FLow and cat-back pacesetter (that is supposed to be street legal) and I found my sound a little too loud and here the cops are crazy… they pull after anything that make a little modified sound, so do you know one mufler (just the mufler as I already have the cat-back 2¼) that is really quiet, any OEM one that will fit but with a good flow?? or any tips to reduce the sound more again?
I have a Ractive Universal SS muffler on my teg, matched with a Monza(pacesetter) resonated tip, the tip helps a lot to quiet the sound! (I know because the pipe just before my tip has a hole in it and the sound has almost doubled from what it was!)
I’ll be ordering a new tip soon, so since you’re quite near me, maybe we could get a deal for 2. (I may be able to get a hook up from my dad)
I already have the monza tip, as I have full pacesetter catback, but maybe just changing the mufler and keeping my monza tip will reduce the sound, I’ll have to try without the monza tip too! (personally, all my friends think my exaust is really quiet, compared to lots of civic and my old stock exhaust, at WOT we can talk in the car without problem… but cops don’t think like them…) its why I’m looking to reduce the noise but in keeping my good flow! put 2 mufler inline? ahhaahaha the pacesetter mufler is kind of very small!! maybe with a universal like vibrant or ractive i’ll have less sound…
yeah he’s resonated, like every monza tips (I think… hehe) I’ll try without that tip, to see the difference, or maybe try to get a stiker that says that my exaust system is street legal and approved, so no more trouble with cops this way!!
are there any tips that i could buy from a local auto parts store that make a deeper sound…i have a stock exhaust and i just want it to look like i have an exhaust modification…(yes, i’m a poser)
I dont know what kind of stuff or store that you have where you live… just go there and ask them, personally I dont know… maybe a resonated tip like the MONZA one for the pacesetter cat-back… or any other that is resonated, or remove your cat, it will make some more noise but in this way your illegal, it depends on what you want!
