I have a B18A1 block,
and I’m interested in getting a B16 V-Tech head. I was told that even the Si computer with a modified chip would also work with this head…if I’m wrong what other options do I have because the B16 computer is a little pricy…
the si ecu will not work in your car… no matter what head. your car is obd1, the si ecu is obd2… it doesn’t plug n play. you would need an obd1 dohc vtec ecu (nudge, nudge, i have one for sale:D )
do a search, the swap you’re talking about is called an ls/vtec. And its not anywhere near as simple as just putting a vtec head on a b18a/b block. Do some research, learn all you can, then come back and ask about the little details you’re not so sure about.

Please…its VTEC not V-tech like my phone.
Maybe he’s talkin about using a chipped p28?
If your sled is OBD1-
92-95 si/ex= yes
99+ si = no
