Z-10 Block Girdle?!! recommendations?

Z-10 Block girdle? Is it worth it, I have LS/VTEC setup, before I put it in my car, I want to know if I should buy this or not…

I have to buy GS-R oil pan, oil pickup, baffle, etc…

All in All should be round $500 bucks for everything…you guys think its worth it?:read:

why risk NOT having it? if not i wouldn’t rev past 7500 IMO. some here have been lucky and not floated a valve… yet. is your bottom end built? ( ARP rod bolts, shot peened rods at least?)

I got Shotpeened rods, ARP rod bolts, built bottom end some JE 11:1’s hottanked, rehoned, resleeved…

if yer bottom end is resleeved… u shoud be okay… but damn might as well right since u did all that other stuff? hope yer valvetrain can take the upper RPM abuse too.

I’ve got a built LS/VTEC and it was the first thing i bought in the build well woth it…it’s not very big but it does a whole lot…stabalizes your crank while reving to 8g’s!

Did you have the mains and girdle doweled? Do a search on www.honda-tech.com on the girdle and on member FFgeoff. I have the girdle and I dont know if I want use it or not now.

Since you already have the other GSR parts… why don’t you just buy the GSR girdle?

that’s the setup i’m going to be using.

well I guess I’ve been lucky for close to 30,000 miles then- stock ls rods new main bearings at time of conversion and ITR pistons. Normally revv to 7800-8000 at the highest cause my setup doesnt produce power after that

Well Z-10 sells GIRDLES and GS-R GIRDLES , what the hell is the difference?

IF i just buy a Block girdle, do i still need to purchase the rest of the GS-R parts?

if you car is a LSvtec… u need the GSR parts to make em work… if your block is a GS-R ( b18c) obviously u don;t need to HTH
