ok i have the COMPLETE suspension (spindles, hubs, control arms, shocks springs rims FULL conversion EVERYTHING ) off a 2001 prelude (well i have the whole totaled out car) and i was wondering do you guys think i would be able to swap it on to a g2 integra to get the five lug??? let me know i did a search and didnt find anything thanks guys!!!
No it will not work. I’ve don’t the 5 lug conversion on my car and all i can tell you is don;t have ass it. If you don’t have the time and money to do it correctly don;t take on the project.
well i was gonna find out before i attempted but i have two da’s so i might try on one i figured i would have to take the ends of the axle on the prelude and put them on the b-series axle ends so that would take care of the axles… but will any of the other stuff (spindels, lower and upper control arms, trailing arms ect ect) blt up??? thanks!!!
ok now i dont have to rig up an axle i priced out the hubs for the 01 type r and i can get BOTH for under 100$ so i figure use all the suspension off the prelude and just switch out the hub so the axles fit??? what do you guys think i got both service manuals and compared the da’s suspension to the prelude and everything looks the same… i dont know just looking for what you guys think thanks but wait i just thought of this WOULD I BE ABLE TO just swap out the 4 lug hub and swap in the 5 lug hub??? lmk thanks guys
I guess you’ll find out the hard way.
This is what the end result done the right way looks like.
BTW : right way also means you machine the front hubs
why dont u stop being a dick and explain it so we all can benefit from this thread

ComptonsF1NEST: Prelude suspension is totaly diffrent it reseblems an accord suspension. In other words it won’t work, won’t bolt up or be modefied to be made to work.
ive seen a civic with 5 lug prelude wheels on it at a meet i was at. Did he get the hubs machined to look like that?
ComptonsF1NEST: Just about any factory honda 5 lug whell will work on a car with a 5 lug
conversion. That civic you saw most likely had a full ITR or CTR 5 lug
conversion also CTR and American ITR 5 lug is the same. They bothe use 32mm
front hubs, there is a diffrence however on Jappanesse ITR 5 lug that
suspension uses 36mm hubs. The diffrence is only in the front thoe, all JDM CTR
and ITR and American ITR uses the same rear suspension.
Now the reason why the front hubs have to be machined when doing the
ITR 5 lug conversion on a DA is because the front suspension from the ITR is
not a bolt on application. In order to get it to work on the DA you need to
take the 5 lug hubs and have them machined to fit the Da wheel bearings.
The reason for this is because the front spindles on a DC and EK or even EG
are diffrent from a DA. If you where to bolt on the DC ITR front spindels on a
DA your front suspension will never get your front alignment correct.
