Was miserable driving home with no AC in the low 100s after tracking at Chuckwalla raceway. She did well with no overheating issues. I did grease my tires though. Track temps was too hot
i like the blu trac race tires. I picked them up for $247 for 205/50/15 after $100 off back in 2024. They won’t give you the fastest times, they are cheap, predicable at the limit, they save my street tires, endurance 200tw tire, and squeal when pushed near the limit, making you sound faster than you really are . They have been to a few hpde events and are still holding up quite well. It was so hot this weekend, that I didn’t bother to change back to street tires when driving home.
I haven’t tried the bridgestones or 651 sports
Just a cool down lap to lower the temps. Especially when the track was 100+
Love seeing your DA at the track and getting the Addco bar to work
I ordered everything to build the exhaust on the track car. Ordered a 2.5" Aluminized piping kit from a company I’ve never heard of LAR Performance (mustang shop apparently), a 2.5" Turbo muffler from Summit, a flex pipe, exhaust hangers, and a few V Bands. Will be going straight from my ebay Tri-Y header back. Seems TruBendz is out of business. Will make a post about the build once I’m done.
It took months of saving to be able to do this. The job came out to $3300 for what im having done. I just got a call from them that itll be ready this friday, so ill pick it up and probably post on saturday
