(08 Feb 2026) What are you doing with your Integra this week?

(Automatically generated thread, please reply with your actions this week!)

This week I’m headed to the junkyard to get an interior fuse block and a headlight chime module. I see a 92 listed on the website hopefully the parts I want are still there.

Hoping it warms up this week enough to even want to be in the garage. It’s currently -2 lol

Do all cars have the headlight chime? I’ve never heard mine and I’ve definitely accidentally left my headlights on before.

I went out in the DA to get a pizza and wings for the game and saw a CB7 accord fueling up. Saw him still there on the way back and made a fool of myself beeping at him lol

I want to say “yes”, they all do. At least my 1991 and 1993 both have the chime. Sometimes it doesn’t work though because the door latch switch is bad/needs cleaning. I have never heard of someone changing it.

I found a few minutes to use a windshield glass stripper and then re-applied RainX. Very happy with the result along with using new blades. I’ll do this every time I replace the blades now.

Yes unless you have a jdm integra. It’s not a chime but the same sound as when you leave the headlights on

I found both parts I was looking for, fuse block & chime. I was surprised how difficult it was to completely remove the interior fuse block

So I also came to realize my seatbelt beeper and some light weren’t working either once I learned when those should be coming on. But it’s all good now! Turned out to just be corroded contacts on the door switch. Finally something simple was the issue.

But my alternator started chirping on my drive home today… :face_with_crossed_out_eyes:

Check the alternator grounds @Kip-ft as well as the battery grounds (the one under the battery support, especially).

Yeah the door switch is what my issue was (stated above) too.

It’s more of a high pitched squeak that moves with RPM. Might not be the alternator but likely something in the accessory drive.

When my alternator started chirping the belt was the issue

Let’s hope it is, gonna do the chrisfix diagnostic procedure after work and see what’s up.

I messed around with the car at lunch (read: poured water on each belt) and it might be the power steering belt or the pump. Going to adjust tension later, and if that doesn’t work I’ll get a new belt

No power steering = :flexed_biceps:

Seems like adjusting the tension didn’t change anything, except popping my radiator :face_with_crossed_out_eyes: :face_with_crossed_out_eyes: :face_with_crossed_out_eyes:

After shutting my car off there was a green pee trail under the car. Doesn’t seem to be from hoses. Saturday I’m gonna pull out the rad. I have a Spectra unit on order, maybe if I’m lucky that will come in over the weekend too.

Is it possible to post a video? This might warrant a new thread though so it could help others.

I really think it’s just a coincidence that the rad started leaking

I know, I was referring to the whine/squeak.
