Went to two cars and coffees in Madison and Deforest today. I never remember to take pics but there was a 200ish odyssey Vtec, a sick 80s Suzuki jimny and a Lotus Esprit. This is the only pic I took lol.
Then I drove for an hour on backroads!
I wonder whether Lotus is still the same as back in the 00s: Really bare bones and all about performance. I rode in an Elise (Toyota powered) when a G2IC member was passing through Orlando. It was amazing how fun that thing was.
There’s a guy in town with an Emira in a medium green, and he seems to really enjoy it. Plus it looks awesome like a cooled off Elise/Exige.

Nice! Also IDK what kind of voodoo has been put on my car, but for the second time in two months a huge ass horsefly flew in and got stuck back in the rear hatch area. I stopped to get it out and then took that pic. Lol

I also successfully cracked the bolts loose on my sway bar brackets which were very crusty. I’ve decided to get a nicer condition stock sway bar as my links are shot on mine and both my current bar and brackets are rusty.
But I’m gonna try something wacky with it so it’s not trash, yet.
This is all just for fun while I wait for an ST bar to appear on the secondhand market.
