FOR **** SAKES!!! I’m so pissed about my headlights.
okay… I just got my new 1-peices from Babak and wow… they look awsome!!! The bad news is i can’t for the life of me get my Passenger side USDM light out. I’ve litterally tried everything for at least 4 hours.
I’m at the point now where i’ve bent the metal braket around the lights all to hell. The one bolt that is left is so hidden that I personally think its impossible even for a mechanic of some sort.
Anyway if anyone has a better idea then bending the **** out of the USDM light, I’d really like to hear from you.
i’m not sure how a bolt is hidden. There is one screw for the corner lense, 3 bolts on top of the headlights, and then 2 (maybe 3) on the bottom (remove bumper to get access). Thats its. After the bolts are removed the light should come right out.
you can take the whole bumper off with the cover, support, everything just by taking out the 2 screws in the wheel well, some screws down below on that black plastic splash guards and then take out the bumper lights and there should be 2 bolts behind each that hold the bumper support to it’s brackets.
i know what you mean…i changed my cv axles last night for i swear the 10th time b/c i keep buying the lifetime guaranteed pieces of crap. and i decided to change a few more bushings while i was at it. well while trying to get the bolts out for the strut rod to the lower controll arm i pulled out the inner joint of my new drivers side axle. so i pulled it back out b/c it wouldn’t go together and i shot putted the thing down my driveway and then beat it against the ground and then stomped on it a bunch of times. the only thing that happeded was the boot clamp that i had to take off popped off and made my life easier. so it pays to get furious at your car sometimes.
it’s always a good idea to check the helms manual before taking a piece of your car apart for the first time… that way you’ll know where/if there are any hidden bolts etc.

Canadian Tire sais they don’t carry one for that model.
???
what if i got a different bumper, like the combat one and it’s attached to the car and i can’t take it out. then how would i take out my headlights then?
Crappy Tire does (or at least did) have the manual for the car, because I have one. It is for 1990-1993 integra as well as 1991-1995 legends. Haynes manual #12021. The book is ok, the best part is a trouble shooting guide in the front which lists symptoms and possible causes for many problems.

If I were to take my bumper off I would almost guarantee that it wouldint go back on without hours of wrk and findind the correct bolts. Seems like when u take anything apart, like the doors they never go back quite the right way cause things strip.
Pull the front bumper off. Its much easier than trying to get to the lower mounting bolts with out removing it. it is only 7 phillips screws and 4 12MM or 14MM bolts. It is easy to line back up there is less than 1/2 inch give up and down and side to side. I 've had mine off atleast 10 times.
Man, I just put in my 1-pce lights and the bumper does not quite fit in properly. There is a piece of rubber weatherstrip that is attached to the bumper, and it doesn’t quite fit under the cornerlens part of the light. Consequently, there is a small gap between the lights and the bumper. Tried for a while to fix it but couldn’t. Any ideas?
