(That’s why I joined this site…for help!)
To be honest with you all I just want to find out what I’m getting into before I go off blowing $1100 on lights (CAD)
Thanks a bundle!

im pretty sure it would be the same process, throw your projectors in the oven, seperate them put the HIDs in (mount them) and seal the lens again. although, maybe the manufacturers have thought about HIDs already and you can plug them in like a regular H4 bulb

The process is very simple. No I don’t have hid in my halo’s. But here you go…

Order an hid kit for H4 bulbs.
The bulbs will plug right in, but you will need to re-wire your headlights.
The projector halo’s I bought came w/ h4 bulbs wired into a 9004 socket.
You would have to disconnect the 9004 socket and use the hid conversion as a replacement.

Hopefully that helps. Check out my halos in the process.

i just ordered the h1 helios hid kit for my projector headlights and noticed that the bulb touches the the little blue reflector thing where my low beams are supposed to be . . . . has anyone had this sort of problem? i cant find anything when doing the search … . .

the conversion is worth it i have the hid conversion in my one piece halo headlights you have to make some modifications to make them fit. but overall its simple. the only down fall is that the hids are so brite that you can barely see the angel eyes.

yup i had the same problem. wut i did was i stuck a screw driver inside the low beam hole and bent the reflector all the way up and out of the way of the hid bulb

do u have pics of your light output and the way your lowbeams look like up close during the day.Because another memeber on g2ic was saying that u get scatter/ hot spot problems when using the relective housing. is that the case for you?
