yea i jus put in my 1 pieces and my corner lights wont turn on at all and my gauge cluster wont light up either. blown fuse? wtf is goin on with my shit.
errything else works good tho.
Check fuse 11 -15A, [hot when light switch is on park/head lights] in under dash fuse box, that’s for the dash lights.
The front side markers are controlled by the ICU, not sure if fuse 11 supplies power to the ICU in a G2:shrug:94
what and where is the ICU? lol
The ICU, [integrated control unit] is mounted the the back of the under dash fuse box.
It has a number of functions, including controlling the front side markers, rear window defog, [timer], intermittent wipers, key still in ign./lights still on/seat belt warning chimes, and so on, ICU problems are common on G2s and other older Honda/Acura models.
Although the dash lights are not controlled by the ICU, there is a connection from the park/dash light output from switch to the ICU.
Did you check the fuse for dash lights?
Dash light problems can also be caused by the “Dash Light Brightness Controller”, [dash light dimmer]
Do you have a multimeter?:hmm:94
havnt had a chance to check my fuses yet but i will today. lol now for my next question. where is this brightness controler thing and how do u adjust it?
by the way fcm… u go!
cuz ur dumb ass cut the wires not knowing what you was doing haha but naw i will help you with it when i can…
The brightness controller is the switch to the left of the steering column, with the rear window defog or cruise control switch and the moon roof and power mirror switches, It is a “roller” switch. it controls the ground to the dash light bulbs, [red lead]:whisper: 94
