i was thinking about getting these white led’s for my front turn signal lights, but im not sure if they are effective, ie whether or not they get enuf beam spread or are visible.

20 bucks for one is kinda expensive… 
I tried the APC amber LEDs on my girlfriend’s Accord, and they were not visible in the day. No idea at night, since I pulled them off and returned before it got dark that day.
Edit: Sorry, I was using 194 single-LED bulbs.
well i bought a test set for one side worth of trun signals of the Jam Streight brand Led replacements and they worked great.
a little more expensive (ok maby a lot) but they apeare to me to be a better dezine.

i got the amber ones for the test mainly becouse there cheeper, and i plan to do come clearing so i will need the amber at that point
led bulbs
i bought the red and blue ones before and they were visible enough at night.
But now im running nissei bulbs right now and i think they’re much better. I dont know how long those led ones are gonna last since the cops gave me a ticket for the blue and red ones, but they work really good and r good quality.

i found a website that sells a lot of led bulbs for pretty cheap. its called superbrightleds.com, the bulbs are cheap and they combine the shipping. and they have a lot of bulbs to choose from
i got mine from that superbrightleds.com place too. i put in amber leds and painted my turn signal housing amber as well and you can see them day and night. and they kick ass, i love the instant on/off you get with leds.
