At least you changed your sig to something more believable.

There was somebody on H-tech claimin that setup in a G2. Somethin like 11:1 compression and 26psi, but when confronted couldn’t produce a dyno or even a pic and quit posting on there.

i think im just going to go with dan type setup with nos…i think that 12 sec is doable with this type of set up…what do u think dan?

id say if ur just goin for track use, a small shot of nitrous would be the way to go. good way to avoid all the tedious/expensive hp gainers inside the engine.

Well you guys see my setup, which is the way it is because I will be doing some AutoX next year so I wanted all motor. However I might still run a Zex kit in my car and just remove the bottle for events. N20 Loves High Compression.

Just as a side note - I picked up the latest issue of Turbo magazine. They’ve got an article on a “budget” Honda Civic hatch drag car that’s all-motor and runs consistent 11’s.

And I quote: “The team’s efforts have paid dividends, despite investing only $40,000.”

Makes me wonder what the big names in the drag scene are spending on their cars. Sheesh.

i ran across that CRX’s website not too long ago before nopi, it was nuts. the car was totally stripped, and the engine was installed in the rear atop custom suspension and tranny work. that motor wouldnt fit in a g2’s engine bay. you’d save money and be faster with a turbo-ready motor and nice turbo setup…
