12 sec all motor?

i was just wondering if it was possible to do a 12 sec pass with all motor integ…i highly doubt it is possible with a b18a…so im looking at a b18c/c5…now keep in mind that the car should be a full interior…plus say…one 12" sub with box…so do u guys think its possible?..or if someone were to hit 12 sec with all motor they would need some NOS…?

Anyone thats serious about running a 12 sec
pass certainly wouldnt have a 12 in a box goin
down the track, or playing in the lanes! :gay:

Yup, all motor 12’s flat is do-able expecially w/c5
but leave the speakers @ home. Let the clowns in
the pitts bump theirs while your turning 12’s.:burnout:

dan ran 13s with his all motor b18c setup , even with a car gutted on slicks i think the best a g2 can do all motor is low 13s , if you want 12s all motor it is alot easiers doing it with a civic hb or crx

there are a few DC2 Integras posting 12’s all motor. big dolla engines in fly weight Integras.

What’s up Jason what you been up to?

it will cost lots of $$$$…and keep in mind, with n2o it wont be all motor:D

money is the key here in fixing one’s motor to achieve high peformance…something i dont have…hahaha…well i was just really contemplating on all motor or FI…but i was leaning toward an all motor setup because there was a place in the east bay where they sell b18c blocks for around $1000…i thought that might be a very good deal and was planning to build it to say…up to par with dan’s b18c with all them goodies…and adding nitrous looks as if 12 sec would be do-able…so u can say adding n2o wouldnt be all motor anymore…but i only really plan on using the n2o on the tracks…

hey whats up elmer…havent been doing shiet…looking for job still…honda of sf didnt come through because they needed someone with exp…it was a fast lube job opening (brakes and oil i think)…so in my head i was like “i know how to freakin change oil and brakes…i dont think its that hard with other types of honda/acura cars!” but i may be wrong…oh well…so basically im broke for now…

think of it this way.

when you entrer a big race…NIRA…NHRA OR IDRC. there are different calasses.
all motor/ NA is one and the others with turbo or n2o are in a difrferent class. forced and or chemical induction and NA are very different things is the point that i am trying to get across…i am drunbnk…sorry:p

i think it would be with the nsx engine swap or something silmilar, its almost a drop-in, just have to find that rare engine

NSX swap?!

Woah…wait a minute here…you can swap an NSX engine into a G2? There’s one I never heard of. That would be downright sick (in a good way of course).

 ok no that wouldnt work nsx engine is kinda big v6 oh yeah and its rwd so yeah that wont work!

Well that can be done. There is a shop in Ga. that had their CRX with an NSX motor in it at NOPI last yr.

true i just meant its not like drop in no modification!
it would take awhole lot of money!

a lot of money which some people just dont have…oh well!!!

nsx motor in a crx? i would really like to see that ,i read even if you could make custom mounts welded wire it all up ,does mean its going to run and you could drive down the block and snap a axle if the motor was in the front maybe it was in the rear , nsx and s2000 are rear wheel drive

Yeah, mounted in the back converted to RWD. Not even practical or logical. It was an completely different car at that point.

This post has turned stupid.

Goto C-Speedracing.com and look at their car. It took them like 15k with a CRV-Tec, race slicks, and a gutted Type R to hit high 12’s. My friend has a full interior 99LS with a CRV-tec that cost him between 10-15k and he runs low 13’s/high 12’s. I’m gonna say it is possible all motor, but it is damn expensive, and you have to be willing to completely strip your car like I was.

im not too familiar with this crv-tec…? is this the b20? im guessing just with a vtec head? b16,b18c1/5???

A CRV-tec would be an LS/Vtec (B18b block/Vtec head) but instead of the B18b block they use a B20b/B20z block out of a CRV. Provides the engine with a lot more torque. Considerably faster engine as they can push out hp/torque numbers most 4 cylinders only hit with a turbo. However, for an integra to run 12’s, you need either race slicks or a fully gutted car. Civic hatches and CRX’s can do it much easier.

Nice sig slick. Now boost kills huh? So, I guess you don’t have that “B18C5 G2 Integra w/ turbo, 11 sec 1/4 mile” car anymore 'eh kikosanchez?

At least you changed your sig to something more believable.

lol, just wanted to see how long i could go b4 somebody questioned the sig.
but yah thats what i figured the crvtec **** was
has anyone done a b20 w/ c5(type-r) head?
