12v powre source...

Hey,
I was gunna put some lights on the interior of my teg and im not sure what 12v power source to wire them to, or where it is… if someone has a diagram or any kind of help i would really appreciate it.

was wondering that myself… what do you usually wire an indiglo shift knob to? how do those work anywho? I mean where does the wire just run down the shifter?

try to use the ciggarette wires. hardwire it to that. or if u know which is 12v on the radio. u can always use a multimeter and check which fuse in the fuse box has constant power or which ever u need when the car is on. or splice it in the alarm wire if it uses 12v. anyways u can find power almost anywhere. just where u like to get it from. always use a multimeter.

use the fusebox. I wired my strobes to the fuse for the rear power windows (I have a 2 dr hatchback, heh).

you can use the connector shown in this pic (It’s powered only when the key is to the ON position):

HTH!

Answer is right you can get +12volts constant. +12volts ingnition and +12 volts parking lights from the fuse box. Test with a test light or a multi meter.
Just use a female spade terminal (speaker terminal)on the wire. It is a good idea to use an inline fuse when plugging into these terminals.

hey answer u know what those extra slots are for? i used the same thing for my fogs.

Louie55: I don’t know for sure, but I’m pretty sure Honda put them there for us… to have some places to plug in aftermarket things like alarms and such…
