Didn’t really know what to title this so ill go ahead ajd explian what’s happening… say I swerve one way kinda quick then turn the other way like when people heat there tires up well when I do this the back of my car swings i have a hard time explaing things lol it just take a second to follow the steering like feels loose. I checked my rear right strut the 2 nuts that hold the strut to the car were loose I then tightened it amd everything was okay so I tryd it again and it made a pop noise. And started swaying again I then checked under the car the bolt on the bottum of the rear right strut that goes thru the fork holding the strut on was loose tightened that then it got alittle better but came back sorry I forgot to mention this problwm occured after I took my car to 130 mph. So I went back checked all the struts and the sway bar its all tight but the sway bar bushings look alittle dru rotted could that be the problem even if so idk why they would just go bad after going 130 the road was smooth amd straight. Sorry if its hard to understand I would just like some opionions and help also sorry for the horrible spelling and grammar lol
If you don’t know the condition of your suspension system (or if the components are even tightened properly) you probably shouldn’t be doing 130mph.
It was all fine and tight until after that.
What’s the condition of your:
Wheel bearings
Tires
Trailing arm bushings
Ball joints
Endlinks
You should probably have someone who does suspension setups look at it.
Things like that should NOT loosen by themselves. I’m not believing they were torqued properly to begin with.
Tires are good idk about the wheel bearing I was think maybe that but I jacked the car up and tryd to wiggle the tires amd nothing happened haven’t looked at the ball joints and don’t know what end links are the trailing arm bushings I’m pretty sure need replaced but they look exactly like thwy did before the problemim fairly new to cars to so try and work with me I wanna learn the stuff on my own with some help I don’t wanna tale my car to a shop and don’t know anyone who does suspenion set ups
