Went to the track a while ago. I have stock 93 block with stock 89 SiR head and Ls Tranny. My tires are stock 93 gsr wheels set to 22 psi. My reaction times were .080 - .100 but i could not break 15s. The only thing i could think of is that my fuel pressure regulator was at like 20 psi … Its now up to 45 or so… and it pulls a lot harder And i know i need the short geared tranny. Just wondering if anyone has the same set-up and is pulling the same times or better times? Let me know. Thanks
a LS/VTEC made with a stock LS block, and stock VTEC head is not going to yield good power, especially with used engine parts.
track condition and elevation , driver skill , condition of used engine parts and about a million other factors determine your ET.
15.1 isn’t terrible considering you’re using a long geared transmission. Your reaction times aren’t exactly the best either.
practice makes perfect…
reaction time doesnt affect ets
exhaust, intake, header? any of those? do you have a tune? wat ecu are you running? tuning makes a big difference. what kinda tires are u running?
