You know there is a competition forum right?

no offense to you, but that sucks.

thats without a whole lot of bottle pressure on wal-mart special tires. and a 20mph headwind. next time im at the track im sure ill be in low 15’s. and again that is an AUTOMATIC!!! at 3220ft. oh also it was somewhere in the low 40’s out.
thats a good temp. cooler is better 3220ft. explains it though. good luck next time!
:wrong: :wrong: :wrong:
first time at track without nitrous.
second time at track with it.
wow i didnt know auto’s were that slow… i’m not bashing you man, you made a huge improvement
Whoa, my 1990 LS when I had it did a 15.7 w/ just I/H/E and 150k miles on the clock.
well…that seems right…15.8@84…that seems right…dang your auto must of had one good of a launch cause 2.3s pretty good for a 60ft …thumbs up…
also how much were you shooting? jw…
How do you launch your auto? I’ve found that the most effective way is to perform the notorious “neutral bomb”. I’d done it once (the first day I got my car) and I was actually impressed at how well the car jumped off the line… but for the sake of the survival of my transmission, i’ve never done it again. The only other way I know is to “power brake”, but only being able to rev up to 2400-2500 rpms means my car usually just bogs out.
“nuetral bombs” are a good way to kill your tranny quickly, please dont do that.
2.3’s aren’t good for a 60 foot. Unless that’s the best that autos can do or something.
