15.9 1/4 93 GSR /w vid

I think that mid 15s is about right for a stock G2 GSR.

Curb weight of a 1992 GSR 2643 lbs.
http://www.edmunds.com/used/1992/acura/integra/18180/specs.html

According to the standard calculations for E.T.

Weight of car with driver. 2800
Quarter mile E.T. 14.5
Required flywheel HP 181.527

This might be possible with bolt ons. I kind of doubt that typical bolt ons will add a solid 21 HP.

Weight of car with driver. 2800
Flywheel HP 160
Quarter mile E.T. 15.12314

This is, of course, based on several assumptions and ideal conditions.

With all that being said, I have yet to take my GSR to the track to see what it does. I would like to dip into the 14s but don’t see that happening.

Man id be pissed if i had a gsr and it ran mid-high 15s. My 91 gs ran a 15.8 with intake and cat-back and full interior.

:iagree:
I ran 16.1 in my 4dr with an intake and broken muffler.
Fully loaded too, passenger, sounds, and 2 rims in the back.

i ran 15.5 w/a slightly modded 92 xsi b16, and itr’s can’t even hit 14’s up here (usually around 15.1-15.4’s) so i think elevation has a lot to do w/things

not too bad for the first time at the track but i think you can still do better. i had a 92 gsr with a b18a (blew the b17) w/ a short geared ys1, short ram intake, crappy 2.25 crush bent exhuast, no ps, no ac, back half gutted ran 15.4 @ 86 on all season yoko yk420s. work on that 60ft and try using OEM ngk spark plugs & wires and im sure you can cut a low 15 or maybe a high 14

whos the guy next to u and where can i get an intake extension like that?

K&N Makes a “filtercharger” intake. i have one, it connects to the stock rubb piece, and is made of course plastic on the inside so u get lots of differnt frequency’s of air through the intake. comes with a K&N lifetime Cone filter, and Velocity Adapter as well as a Metal bracket bar to stablize the cone head. It screws into where the stock air box bottom is screwed down if that makes any sense. i have pics if u want to take a look

yea thats 200+ dollars mine cost about 50 for the filter and 10 for the pipe
