15.9 92 gsr wtf?

I have a 92 gsr with I/H/E and short shifter. A couple of days ago I had the chance to get to the track but I went kinda wounded, a bolt on the edge of the header flange where it connects to my head broke so now I have a small leak{black residue}where it broke. Also I need all new motor mounts they are completly shot. I ran a 15.9 in the quarter. Are these problems really affecting my 1/4 time? This was my first time running this car so I have no past times to compare. I guess time to get it fixed…

the leak is a must fix…

that is a common area where the studs break
mine did the same

take off radiator and drill and use extractor #1

as for motor mounts being shot
yes they make ur car slower
y u ask
if a motormoutn is torn then it wont be able to put the power down on the road

what matters too is
“fisrt time at track”

post ur trap and 60 foots
im sure ur 60 foots are prety high like 2.5+ range
get that down to 2.3 2.2

This race was against aa 04 accord with the j30 240 hp 2dr coupe auto, It was his first time at the track too and I barely beat him.

looks like ur slowing downon the top end, post ur tire size, how much tread and psi u were running… looks like u trapped for a low 15, which when i had my B17 i was trapping the same with a 2.3 60 and running a lower 15, i think my best was a 15.2 with a 2.35 60 foot… but keep it up… P.S.- on the street do u feel faster, cause for some reason, when i get onit on the street i can get traction easier, maybe the tracks suck out here…
