(16 NOV 2025) What are you doing with your Integra this week?

my check engine light has come on a couple times recently and the ecu is blinking code 43. I looked it up in the book and it says it it is this o2 sensor… im pretty sure its an intermittent failure and the system is ok. also this is where my camshaft seal plug is leaking everywhere so I should probably clean it and fix the leak

also its raining like crazy in socal and i have some old ass tires in the back and my rear wheels hydro planed around a corner… luckily I didnt crash but damn no abs and no traction control i can see why those things are standard now

I think I got the key lock deal sorted out. I just yanked the plug to this red box behind the radio. It’s the “interlock control unit”. Didn’t have to unscrew anything from the lock cylinder. But I also installed my manual ECU, so I don’t know if this would work if the auto ECU was still in.

realized o2 sensor wire ripped off at the connector… maybe thats why the check engine light comes on

quick fix at 4am

No high temp shielding on that wire? It comes with it when you buy a new one. Weird how that’s missing. :frowning:

My o2 wire is just raw doggin’ the engine heat too - No shielding on mine.

the shielding broke off when i was peeling it back to get to the wire… maybe ill just buy a new o2 sensor if it comes with the right connector plug

Get the Denso one if you can. I’m pretty sure other brands are problematic (I remember reading that here, at least).

wait actually the o2 sensor is good its the wire that goes to the car that broke.. D: hopefully i can replace that

Tires mounted! I decided to hold off on the paint process until the tire guys finished manhandling the wheels so they wouldn’t be scuffing a finished paint job.

Also, one of these tires is dated 46/21 even though they are listed as new. Rest are late 2024. Gonna complain to Amazon and see what they do.

nice those falkens are good.

two of my tires went flat a couple months ago and no one had 1956014s but i found some at this old good year and they were made in 2017. I didnt think it was a big deal since they had tread but I put them in the back and yesterday they hydroplaned around a corner so I learned my lesson about old tires…. they wont even balance out either because they were sitting for 8 years lol

Yeah they get so hard after like 5 years that they’re like rocks. Part of the reason I’m going up to these 15’s is because I feel like the 14” tire options are all sub-par and overpriced for what they are.

Make sure you tell the tire guys to put the balancing weights on the inside of the rim. I had a guy snap them on the outside of my newly painted wheels. WHY?!?! Idiot.

Thankfully they did!

Last night I stopped at NAPA and bought a relay kit to wire the ignition circuit properly (good value at 16 bucks!), and a trailer connector which hopefully matches the bullet connectors coming off my reverse light switch. I need to make the push to wire everything up right so I can reinstall the center console.

replaced the passenger side tranny mount…it wasnt that torn like the rear and front mount but it does feel a little smoother. next is the driver side mount and then ill probably move down to suspension after that

Good stuff. I should do my sway bar links and bushings one of these days. And probably my LCAs, but I’m pretending they’re not bad…

yeah i want the cool looking after market lcas because my strut mount bushings are blown out and i was having trouble finding the right bushing to press in so i kinda just want to get all new lcas and also uppers with adjustable camber would he nice

Yes and with how much of a PITA it is to press out bushings, the Truhart set with hardened rubber seems like a sick deal. There’s also an ebay seller with Mevotech stock replacments for $130 a set.
