Took the Integra to Formula Drift in Seattle last week! It’s a 400 miles round trip, and the Integra done it flawlessly…. until the last 5 miles on the way home when my battery light came on. Tested the alternator, and she’s no good.
Removed the drivers side axle and found the boot to be extremely torn so I got a new axle ordered.
It arrived on Friday. So Saturday morning I continued on.
Got the new alternator installed, and after about an hour of fighting with it I got the new axle installed too. It was going fairly smoothly, until I found the threads on the lower ball joint to have been previously cross threaded. So it looks like I’m ordering new lower ball joints too. Any recommendations anyone?

I was recommended these on eBay. They are “Three 5” brand and made in Japan.
I have not installed them yet, but I purchased them to have on hand.

I’ve been trying to meet to look at a (seemingly) really nice '90 GS for like three weeks now, as these cars really seem like a fun reliable platform. But the seller is so unresponsive. I almost wonder if the guy doesn’t actually want to let it go.

He’s about 1:15 from me so it would be a little bit of a trip. It’s hard to explain without seeing the convo but I basically can’t get the guy to send me a time and location to meet up even though we’ve agreed on a price.
That sounds like he’s holding out for a better offer.
Yeah, I’ve thought that too. It would be nice if people were straightforward though. When I sold my truck I was transparent when replying to messages with offers lower than where I wanted to be.

I just happened to look at my roof today and saw a substantial increase in cracks and rust near the sunroof! I might have to go to a body shop sooner than I thought.
