I am interested to see a staggered setup on an Integra, especially one that is two inches of difference. I don’t know if I would like it…I hope someone post pics though so I can change my mind
which is why i made this post. the front will not be a problem.
ive seen many honda’s on google image with 15x10 or 16x10’s but no info on there offsets? besides that my rear arches will be getting pulled and rolled since i have to take care of some minor paint issues.
While i don’t have that setup i do have some experience fitting different sizes of wheels and tires that probably shouldn’t be on a da.
Width is no big deal if you’re ready to hack up body work although with the right offsets you’d be surprised by what can fit underneath the stock bodywork. NOT talking about hellaflush camber bullshit.
Front offset should be minimum of +36 to clear the knuckle and rear should be something like 20-25(dont remember exactly) So you’re on the right track with those wheels, they should fit underneath stock body work (stock body work thats been rolled and probably pulled a little too) with a 23-24 inch tall tire.
Now since you’re talking about 17’s it gets a little more complicated. I have not run 17’s but have run a tall tire on a 16. It was 25 inches tall with an offset of around +20 and the issues i ran into with that was suspension travel being limited by tire clearance and not geometry/bumpstops/chassis points. Kinda sucks when you’re loosing something like a inch of travel because of tire size. There is no solution to this unless you’re great at fabrication and welding because the problem up front is the frame rail above the wheel. You can cut/bend/weld the seam out of the way so you don’t chop up a tire but that only gets you a little more clearance. Ideally you would have to cut and box that part of the frame out of the way. Out back the issue is the metal inner fender liner. Wtv, that can be chopped out of the way.
Is this for a crazy looking street car or do you plan on driving it? Cuz the ride height won’t be so hot if you plan on attending a hpde.
Keep in mind the offset mentioned was for a 15x9. You could probably run a more positive offset in the rear with a 17 since a 15 runs into the rta uca mount point first. Maybe the same for the front since the knuckle gives a larger diameter more room just watch out for the tire and upper balljoint clearance.
