(18May2025) What are you doing with your Integra this week?

(Automatically generated thread, please reply with your actions this week!)

Suddenly have a “car won’t start” issue. Replaced everything in distributor. Nothing. Will be checking fuel issues next as well as perusing through here because I know this has come up before.

Did you check for spark, before you started tinkering Neal.?? For fun, did you spray some carb cleaner or starter fluid into it to make sure it wasn’t fuel related.?

I’m studying wiring diagrams to try to build an OBD0-OBD1 harness for an automatic trans. Still fighting my Air/Fuel ratio.

Nah I didn’t test for spark and just went with the common replacements. I really don’t know why – I guess just totally in a rush and just went with what I had done a decade ago. At least I have some spare parts now :face_with_tongue:

Was doing the valve lash adjustment last weekend. Noticed my timing belt is pretty stretched out and my exhaust cam was off 2 teeth. (No drivability issues surprisingly, I only checked it as I was doing the valve lash and had the valve cover off)

With the amount of time its been since the last replacement(Like 30,000 miles, but i think 8 years old) it’s definitely due it. Gonna do the water pump and cam seals with it too, to hopefully get rid of the last of the engine leaks.

I also had a buddy come by and polish the car for me for the first time in my ownership, and oh my goodness does it look amazing now!

This :backhand_index_pointing_up: post is useless without pix.

It looks like no spark. I have a spare distributor so I’m going to try that. If not, I think I’ll pull the trigger on DigiDizzy. Sick of this crap.

This is the only photo I have currently, but tonight I’ll take some more.
Photos don’t do the white paint justice

Actually turns out I do have a short video of how the car is currently
