Anyone here ever roll with 19 inch rims on their DAs/DB1s? If so, what was the tire size? I’m considering getting a set of 19 inch rims, but not sure if they’ll ride nice. Feedback is appreciated!
nothing bigger than 16s IMO.
they wont ride nice and they wont fit nice. if you want big rims the biggest most people go on integra’s is 17" to stay close to stock dimensions. anything bigger and it’s just to much.
Not my cup of tea, but I am wanting to say the biggest rims you can go on a DA are 18’s. In that case I would run a 215-35-18. Like I said, big rims aren’t my thing but if you like it go for it!
The bigger you go, the lower you need to go for the wheels to look right. 16’s with 205/45R16 tires are the perfect compromise between tire and wheel on our cars. 17’s with 205/40R17 tires can still be pulled off nicely if you have a good wheel and good drop (if you have an ugly wheel, the ugly really shows when you get up to this size)… 4drs can pull them off a lot easier than 2drs. 18’s are really hard to pull off… the only ones that I’ve seen that did were with some old school Racing Hart’s and a Wings West lip kit. Most 19+ are just going to look retarded.
I personally have 17’s, but they are Volks so they look hot regardless of the size, but I wouldn’t mind shrinking them an inch… if only they were made in a smaller size.
19’s… no way. I don’t even think they’d fit. Those 17’s look big enough on the Integra, I don’t see how 18’s would even look right.
Thanks for the feedback guys. I’ve had 16s, 17s, and 18s on my DB1. I think 18s are the best fit. My car is dropped 1.5" in the front and 1.0 in the rear. I had to sell my 18s because the guy who bought my EK9 wanted the rims so he paid an extra $1,000 for them. Now I need new ones.
FYI to the people saying they won’t fit, there’s a couple members on here who had 20’s on their integras so yes a 19 will fit with the proper tire but may rub in the corners.
With fender liners and everything in tact or do it take some modification?
19’s are too big if you are lowered. There is not a tire small enough, the smallest is 24.9". I tried a set and I couldn’t turn without damaging the fender. The tire was also against the back bumper.
I had 19"s on my crv and they rode great
why can i never find threads when i want to lol, wheres those pics of the maroon teg thats bagged or on hydraulics? he’s got big ass wheels on that thing. but he’s also got alot of negative camber and rolled all the fenders
