Hey guys, so the passenger side armrest on my 90 integra gs won’t completely stay attached to the door. Using the armrest to close the door when someone tries to close the door the armrest looks like it is about to tear right off. What I think the problem is that the door trim is broken where the armrest would usually clip on to. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Any help is much appreciated.

That is when you pull the door to shut.
I believe its the fabric that is not making it snap to it. But im not sure.
And how it is normally.
You need a new panel so you can bolt up your hardware against it and problem solved bro
So there is nothing I can really do besides just deal with the armrest like that? Well I guess I will have to buy a new panel. Thank you for the input germzs.
Or you can cheat and make a bigger piece of hard surface and put it between the panel and the armrests so it clould grad and stay in place. Know what I mean?
since you haven’t mention it, have you tried putting a screw where its missing?
So there is a hole in the door panel? Nothing for it to hold on to?
Ever since I ripped that thing right off the door I dont even bother pulling on it.
Sorry for the really delayed response to the thread. I could make a bigger surface for the panel to stick on too. What kind of material do you guys recommend? I am not sure if their is a screw missing or not.
Im at work so ill make this quik. OP you can see the clips that attach the door handle to the door panel still attached.
you can see one of them just sticking out on the inside in the pic. remove your door panel, reattach and done. if your lucky. if the door panel is broken/ time for a new panel…
Oh ok, yeah I will first try and replace the screws, and if that doesn’t work try and get a new panel. Thanks guys for all the feedback.
