I have a 1990 Integra DA9 RS with no ac button. My last one was a 91 and it had one. I see the ac button on the nob that turns the ac/heat power up or down on all the other DA’s. I just have a nob with no button. Does my car just not come with ac? I have searched and can’t find any info on this…
Its an RS which basically a base model, most didn’t come with any options I don’t believe.
do you have the a/c compressor on the motor
:gotpics:
I thought all RS’s had AC. I could be mistaken, but both of my RS’s have come with AC. Could you take a picture to see if it looks factory or modified?
Also, I’ve never noticed any DA’s in the junkyard without the button.
ac was an option for all models. i don’t even think it was standard in gs’. could be mistaken on that last part though
I will post up a picture in the next 30 min. just got to wait for my email to receive it from my phone. also where is the a/c compressor located on the motor?
nevermind, i can not figure out how to load an image. i upload the file then when i drag it, it just goes to a different page with that picture…:bang:
Im not sure I understand why you’d think you should have ac
You are right…my GS has no A/C, only one i’ve ever seen tho
You guys can check out my thread on team integra about this. heres the link, it has a picture: http://www.team-integra.net/forum/12-generation-two/210692-do-all-das-come-c.html
Well all the Da’s I’ve seen had them and my last one had it and all the ones i see at the junkyard have the button
My 1990 LS doesent have A/C from factory. No lines or cooler, or pump. I love it that way . . .
As the others stated it was an option for the RS, although nearly almost every one did come w/ AC. The true non-AC version (lacking the AC button) like you pictured is quite uncommon. After I removed my AC I converted my climate control to use the knob w/o the AC button.
I had 2 RS, first one had no AC, my current one did have AC but was pulled out along time ago. i still have the button there
