Description: This is a 1990 Acura Integra LS. The body had 199,000 miles on it when i switched the motor out and put in the cluster that reads 90,000 miles. I bought this car with a blown motor and an auto transmission. I have since swapped out the auto for a manual transmission and motor out of a 1992 integra.
The guy i bought the motor from claimed it had 144k miles on it with the tranny when he pulled it out of his car. I have no way of confirming this however before i put it in my car i did replace the timing belt, water pump, oil pump, rear main seal, oil pan gasket, valve cover gasket and alternator. I have not seen a drop of any fluid in my driveway since i put it on the road. I used a manual cluster that had 90,000 miles on it and since finishing the car i have put an additional 1300 miles on it. I have been daily driving it as it gets better gas mileage than my truck. oil on the block in the pictures were from a very leaky valve cover gasket. Motor was cleaned with degreaser before install.
The swap is about as correct as it can be without cutting and rewelding the tranny mount bracket to where it needs to be. I have included a few pictures of the swap as well.
This car has no rust and with the exception of the fender i could not find any other damage on the car. This will come with a spare driver side fender already primered and ready to go.
The suspension is ebay coilovers on stock struts. I just wanted the car a little low and had these lying around so i threw them on the car. The struts are not blown however i do have a full set of stock struts and springs that will go with the car as well in case you dont like the way it rides now. I have also replaced the passenger side bearing.
The car has good tread left with working a/c and power steering although the a/c could use a recharge. It blows cool, not cold. Power windows and locks all work.
The interior is not the greatest. The driver seat is different than the rest and has two tears in it. The carpet is actually in pretty good shape. The rest of the interior is all there. This is a good daily driver for whoever. i averaged 34 mpg going to maryland and back last week.
