When I hit the key I have this relay chittering and clicking almost like a sparking sound it’s under the PASSENGER side by the ecu almost any clue what it is or if it’s even the problem.
I just bought the car for dirt cheap and it does have some shitty home done wiring for subs and stuff like that. Jim one piece head lights with a switch but that shouldn’t affect the firing
im not getting spark i have replaced the distributor and the fuel/main relay i believe what has happened is somone did a b18b swap and its obd0 -obd2 car and never finished. I have no idea where to start as far as finishing up the wiring and what i would have to change.
Look at the plugs on the harness and see if they have been cut and twisted together or wired up, also check all the plugs on the dizzy O2 sensor and just look carefully if your unsure of the plug difrence hop on google and see what they show ya basicly the odb1-2 has two grey plugs and the plug for odb0 is a white circle
Or do this put the engine to top dead center(assuming it is in time also check the timing) anyways put clyinder #1 to top dead center use the dipstick to see when the piston stops going up and or down, then take off the dizzy cap and see what clyinder the dizzy is pointing at basicly a simple way to check the firing order internally of the dizzy that has helped me in the past figure out some issues lol
Multi-meter the main relay make sure your getting power in every step of that because I just recently ran into that sometimes replacing things before you double and triple check things like grounds are also important but just double and triple
Check the basics lol
