Its because my baby looks way in the hell better then them and she never talks back and dose what ever i want her to do. EVERY MANS DREAM:angel:
I will say this though. DAs are a great way to get into the automotive know-how.
Any Honda is good to start with. They are so simple to work on.
Pics are working for me now
Yea I plan on going to school for welding, thanks guys, atleast your not totally ripping on it stupid body kit
Well if you are set in fixing it up,PROMISE us you will do it the right way and not go all riced out on it and we will not bash you:) Good luck with the car but finish school to.
Welcome to the community!

And yes I promise ill get rid of the rice crap when I get the chance. I have a 91 front bumper lined up with a full sunroof assembly and my last 2 dash panels I need plus a shift boot and a stupid injector piece I lost for $150. Ill post my build thread up too, Ive actually made a lot of progress on it. Id rather it be on here than HT

Info on the car
I got it with out a full interior and a really crappy paint job (they brushed the paint on in spots and even the primer they used had runs!) When they painted it with foo foo cans they didnāt tape off the headlights or taillights, it was a disaster cleaning them up! The sun roof has a huge crack in it but doesnāt leak. A few fixable dents. The hood was f**ked, So I found 1 from a guy in Madison for $30, has 1 dent but will be fixed. It has a front bumper and side skirts from a body kit. I am going to put it back to stock.
Well the basics of the car:
1991 Acura Integra
LS trim
B18A1
original paint - White
Stuff already done to it when I got it:
was lowered on some springs - brand unknown
stainless header and cat back exhaust - brand unknown
port and polished head
angel eye headlights
REALLY crappy tint job!
New trans
New clutch
New short throw shifter
Things Ivāe done so far:
I pulled the headlights and taillights out and cleaned them up. I took the headlights completely apart and painted the chrome lime green and the fried halos (they had them hooked up wrong) matte black. I traded the stock taillights to a friend for a set of halo taillights. I took the valve cover off and took it to school, bead blasted it, then taped the indented squares off and painted it lime green. I replaced the hood, even though I wish mine was rapairable seeing my stock hood is lighter than the other stock hood i installed. I took the center console out and made a plate for the cd player and E.Q. to sit at an angle then fiberglassed and wrapped it in suede. I machined and tig welded my own steering wheel hub for now, and installed a MOMO steering wheel. I also made my own test pipe so I wouldnāt bottom out on it anymore. I got a pair of Konig V-Racing seats from a friend. I made my own sliding seat brackets and installed them. Now Iām working on sanding it. I also bought two sets of rims, a set of 14" oem honda rims for winter and a set of 16" Mille Miglia rims.
I want to get the interior all put back together, get it painted, drop it on some coilovers. I want to LS/VTEC turbo build the motor. Also either want to put a JDM fenders on it or a CF the whole front end plus doors and deck lid. Right now Iām going to be fabricating a custom cold air intake from a top mount intercooler from my 1988 Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe. By the time iām done I want it to be RHD too
No dash when I got it
Got a dash and put it in
Hood that came on it
dent in passenger side quarter
the shitty VC paintjob when I got it
More pics to come soon
jdm frontend :wtf:
I want JDM fendersā¦sry, didnāt mean to leave the front end part in. I was actually supposed to get a xsi from a guy for $900 but I would of had to spend another 2k to get it shipped
I wont pass any judgement due to some statements made about the car being primed and the kit coming off. Looks like your headed in the right directionā¦at least for nowā¦
Not really a fan of the center console but itās not my car! Good luck with your buildā¦
Good luck to a fellow wiscompton-ite attempting to put a DA back together. Iāve got two of these projects going. Iām having a blast. Iām also 31 and have a lot of time to work on stuff. The investment of time is never going to equal out money-wise, but who cares. These cars are inherently cool and deserve to be saved. When we all are 70 years old and a survivor DA goes across the block at barrett-jackson for $300,000 youāll be happy you spent time tinkering with one or eight.
Thanks, its nice to see people who dont just talk crap even after telling them to stfuā¦I mean most the people on HT that talk shit are rich people or stuck up people that think their rides are the best. People gotta realize when you donāt have money you got to work with what you got for the time beingā¦hence it being a ābuildā thread
When I get my taxes back ill get the front bumper and then the skirts will come off too, and then my next step will prolly be dropping it a lil more, Its kind of sad that my old s10 sat lower than this car lol
Primed - and pending sale for 4k
:think::stare:
Youāre not getting 4k for your car, good luck.
