I was curious if there’s a big interest for the 1992-93 integra front license plate bumper plug. I made a few before for a friend of mine and was planning of making more in the near future. Here’s a few that I made. Its an exact replica of the original bumper plug.
Not trying to be a jerk, but those plugs in the picture all look like used OEM units. I still have a few sets that look exactly the same with impact dents and removal marks from a pick being used.
If this is true then it defeats the project I was working on. If these are truly replicas then you must have made a mold, since there are pusher marks on the inside. No way a 3D scan of originals and then 3D printing would come out with those still on the backside. And The front resolution for the dimples is high and clean even for SLA. Very curious to know how you made them. Did you use a “home” injection mold system?
there’s quite a few people that are interested in how I made these. The only thing I can tell everyone is its not made from 3d printing. I have been very buzy this past week that’s why I have not responded quickly. Here is one I just completed today. If anyone wants to purchase this one. [EDITED]
You are acting very fishy, Joseph. Why is it that you can “only tell us that’s it’s not 3D printing”. On another note, if this is indeed legit, I do not allow people to sell manufactured goods on G2IC without becoming a sponsor. I have removed your contact info.
I prefer not to divulge on how I manufactured this. It took me a long time to learn the process. I’m sorry I didn’t know the rules on selling parts here.
I don’t understand why there’s any doubt that its legit. I can post more pics just to satisfy your curiosity
