1992 Acura Integra GS, black, JDM B18C (Type R) S80 J4D LSD P28 ///// My Build Thread

Hey guys I’m a long time member on here, I finally decided to make a build thread to share with you guys what I’m doing. I just bought another G2 (love these cars) and this one I just bought is now going to be my summer car, and my other one (92 GS red, JDM B20 w/ b16 trans) is going to be my winter car now.

So anyways I just picked up this G2 the other day and I’ve already begun work on it.

Some specs:
1992 Acura Integra GS, black
JDM B18C (Type R, 96 spec)
S80 transmission with J4D LSD
Chipped P28 ECU
Full Pacesetter exhaust
Full Tein SuperStreet coilovers
Skunk2 front camber kit
SPC rear camber kit

In the next couple days:
ARP wheel studs
Energy Suspension bushings
New tie rods
New upper ball joints
Re-paint valve cover
Clean up grounds
New door panels
New speakers
New deck
New LEDs in dash

Pictures so far:

Future plans:
I plan on it being a track car this summer as well as my daily driver, clean upgrades only, no rice shit definitely.

If you plan on ragging on the JDM B18C (Type R), although I’m fully capable of doing the swap, I didn’t. I bought this car with it already in it, and I got an excellent deal on the car as well. So don’t give me speeches about how turbo-ing a B18A would have been better or stuff like that.

Dude… why in the world would people want to rag on having a B18C5 in your DA… I think that’s awesome… would be even awesomer if I had that engine in my DA.

Good start for you… keep it up and post pix of your work along the way :auto:

lol some people hate on it because of how expensive it is they tell you that you would have been better off just turboing the B18A.

Thanks man here’s some more from tonight… got a bit more suspension out and stripped the valve cover getting ready for re-paint.

I like where this is going

You need a better camera dude LOL… builds tend to look “sucky” with crappy pics… :fingban:

thanks guys. ya the pics are iphone 3gs pics lol but the weather has been super shitty thats why they’re so dark but i’m getting new bulbs for my worklights and we have nice weather now so the pics from now on should be much better. goin to my buddy’s work tonight to press out all the old bushings and wheel studs etc… excited lol

Lots more work done…

Lots of work has been done since my last post. ARP wheel studs are in on all wheel hubs now. All of the old bushings and shells have been removed, suspension is now ready for sandblasting and powdercoating soon. Valve cover has been re-painted and re-installed.

Chyea… Burning those bushing collars out get easy after the 3rd full car done lmao… More pictures!!

lol ya i know you got into a groove and were killin’ em after that haha. yeah i really do need to take some good pics. can you say i’m a bad camera man? haha
