1993 LS-S in Green

refresh my memory- what makes them “special”… btw this one’s interior is black, that’s all I can see.

ABS?
5 speed?
What else?

I remember seeing one of these for sale a while back. It was basically a GS model as far as ABS, power everything, sunroof, etc… This one had beige leather (which I think the leather might be LS-S specific) and possibly a slightly different finish on the wheels… I could be wrong, but I think those were the only things besides the fact that it was that hunter green color and the emblems.

Looking into buying one? I would have loved to have had a DA in that color.

Yeah, I found one for sale in my area. Not sure if I want hunter green or ABS… always had LS. hmmm

ABS on these older cars sucks, so it’s definetely something I could’ve gone without on my first GS. I love that shade of green, if everything else checked out on the car I would probably buy it.

I just picked up a Captiva Blue RS and I’m pretty happy with my choice on this one.

I’m having a heck of a time finding anything other than 1990 LS’s… I want my power windows! How bad is the ABS- and do these come in auto or stick- or both?

Im pretty sure its just a badge and title!!!

my LS-S also green btw, came with non abs and A/C. power windows but no power locks. ABS is practically usless at its age and is almost guaranteed to fail so might as well go non abs from the beginning .02

100% agreed. It actually never went bad on my GS, but it wasn’t really effective in the snow and when I really needed it.

I guess it is just a title and a badge since your LS-S has all of those differences from what I originally thought. I’m pretty sure it was available as an auto or 5 speed. The one I came across years ago was most likely an auto and overpriced.

can’t I disconnect the ABS?

i think the lss had leather or mine had the black with tan inserts cloth seats and the door handles are chrome also i believe. other than that the abs the badge rims thererealy isnt to much of a difference a and power locks

Found this on clubintegra.com, I’m sure it’s been posted somewhere on G2IC also.

Only difference I see listed is the OEM tires were V rated like the GS-R. I’m thinking it was just an LS with the option to add on things like ABS, power locks, etc…

g2tegra - You can definetely remove the ABS system, but unplugging isn’t the proper fix. You’ll have the ABS light on and that big eyesore in the engine bay by the right strut tower. I think with ABS you get the bigger master cylinder which is a plus. Look into the ABS removal threads because I forgot the specifics from when I looked into it. The only thing I remember is needing the prop valve and bending/flaring the hard lines.
