I really can’t tell if it is my engine bogging on initial start off or if my tranny is slipping. It almost feels like the latter. I only experience it when accelerating from a dead stop, the car just doesn’t seem to “catch”, i hear it rev up slightly but not accelerate, then it catches and snap - i go. If i accelerate very slowly initially I don’t feel it but if it is middle or full throttle, I really feel it hesitate and then and catches and I go.
Anyone ever heard of first gear stripping? Could this be the problem?
