:shock: I was talking today with a guy who does alot of honda motor swaps. He told me that 1st gen ECU’s will hook right up to the second gen harness, and actually have a higher rev limit. This didnt sound remotely right to me…Anyone tried it that can verify this?

yes…it will mount right up and be no problem but the mounting bracket is different on that ecu…as far as the rev limiter no quite sure…don’t think so unless it’s chipped…also why would you do this…your motors a 1.8 but your ecu will be working as a 1.6 dual cam…hope that helps
dont do it. PR4 fuel maps are better than the PG7’s. the revlimit will be like 7300 or something.
