Ok first, my car is still overheating when the a/c is on. I checked the fans, both work. Fuses for all relays, coolant is full. oil was a little low so i put 2 qts in but it still gets hot when a/c is on… any more ideas?

Prob 2…
I got a new fuel gauge cuz i broke the needle off my other one. anyway, i got it in, and it worked fine for one nite. now it runs down really slow. it says right now that i have 3/4 tank, but ive gone 130 miles on that tank. thats way off. its almost like its only using half the gauge. like 1/2 is empty. the screws in the back are what makes the electrical connection so could one of those be loose?

Have you checked to see if your thermostat is opening up? If it’s stuck shut then the fans can’t do anything to cool the coolant that’s in the motor. Squeeze the upper radiator hose as the engine warms up and see if it fills with coolant when the engine reaches full operating temperature. If it doesn’t then the thermostat is stuck. If it takes a while after the engine reaches full operating temp then it’s probably sticking intermittantly and should be replaced.
