I put together the 3D scanner yesterday and attempted scanning the cowl clip. No luck so far with figuring out the nuances of the scanner. It might be too small (argh – something I didn’t consider). I bought a special powder that is supposed to help with reflecting surfaces for shiny objects. I think that’s what’s causing the issue. It arrives Monday.
