(21 Dec 2025) What are you doing with your Integra this week?

(Automatically generated thread, please reply with your actions this week!)

I went to install the new amp and the old amp decided to work. So I cleaned up the wiring and left it as-is. I think it’s on its way out, but I’ll see if it fails again in the next week.

im so pissed my car vibrates at 3k-4k rpm like its a stiff engine mount or something… i might put the old one back on the top driver side… idk im sad cause it was so much work to put the rear bottom in i hope its not the rear bottom one.

So I remember getting that issue when my axle was dying or the axle got out of alignment. It was so many years ago I can’t remember. You should give that a look. But it only just appeared after the mount? Bleh.

Maybe jacking up the engine to replace the mount had the axle in a weird position, it’s possible.

I get a super annoying rasp at 4k rpm. I think it’s the inner pipe inside the A-pipe but not sure.

ooo raspy sound? Yeah definitely check the exhaust piping. I had a misaligned hangar that caused that. Then later discovered a hole in the piping in another location. Winter salt messed it up bad.

this definitely isnt right, the mount is so uneven. im going to put the old one back on

it was so hard to get this mount because none of the parts stores carry it so i had to try ebay for the first time and the seller never shipped it and i had to call ebay customer support and they made them ship it but its already messed up

What year is your car and what mount was sent?

my car is 1990 they sent this

hey dude what would you recommended for trying to wire in my dash cam…

normally it plugs into the cigarette lighter plug but that always has voltage so I had to unplug it every night but it ripped the cigarettre lighter socket out….anyway the cig lighter plug docent work

i want to wire in the dash cam would you recommend using a fuse tap or anything else easy that will be discrete?

Fuse tap can work… You are going to want switched power right? I’m just a dumb chimp who stares at the FSM circuit diagrams until they make sense. But I think you should do an add a fuse, and use a harbor freight multimeter to find one that’s switched power. Maybe rear defroster?

Or you could fix your cig lighter and add a switch in the cable to your dash cam.

Someone smarter than me please chime in lol

i could wire a switch in but i think i would have to wire in a whole cigarette lighter socket because the power cable for the dashcam is a cigarette lighter adapter

plus its been raining like crazy and it water drips out of the blower motor assembly… next to fix that leak

omg i realized i had the wrong bolt in the through hole. it was too short and walloring out the non threaded hole cause the engine was moving around

Great that you were able to figure out the motor mount issue.

For simplicity, I use this for my dashcam and phone charger. $20 on amazon. It has switches on top

damn i should’ve got something like that so i didnt have to unplug my dashcam from the 35 year old cig lighter everyday.

now the cig socket is loose and you you have to wiggle it around to get voltage. but just driving shakes it loose again.

also its so much work just to get behind the cig light in the car you have to remove alot of stuff

I used the fuse tap because I hate those cig lighter adapters.
