Any of you US members using your time off for Thanksgiving to do anything?
I need to clean up and organize the garage. The weather has cooled off so it’s comfortable, but there’s still a matter of finding time

I need to work on the a/c system now that car is finished. I pulled a vacume on it and held. However, i have an issue that the compressor wont turn on when i introduce refrigerant. The fans come on but the compressor doesn’t. It does come on if i give it 12volts with my power probe. Next plan is to do a continuity test to check if i missed something during the wire tuck. Ive already ruled out the thermostat in the evaporator box per the helms manual.
What about the pressure switch ?
The high/low switch was replaced before the dismantle and the a/c worked with no issues. My guess is something during the wire tuck but luckily thats its own harness. Ive also rulled out the relays as i swapped them around with the cooling fan and it comes on when jumping the thermostat switch.
Can’t believe I bought these Konis 12 years ago from a g2ic member and they just barely got installed. Also throwing on some track tires in preparation for an hpde event
Interesting tires. Pricey?
Not at all. They are Armstrong Blu Trac Race 205/50 R15 for $247.20 after -$100 coupon code with free shipping at tirestreets.com using coupon code MIATA15. With the kiddos, I won’t be tracking too often and I didn’t want to roast my street tires. The Armstrong Blu Trac Race are a 200tw tire
I wish I had my own wheel mounter / balancer.
Yeah that rear mount is a real PITA
