(25May2025) What are you doing with your Integra this week?

(Automatically generated thread, please reply with your actions this week!)

So a new distributor fixed the starting issue.

I need to try to wash and wax the tegs this week so I can put on the car covers. This Florida sun is no joke lately. But also I have taillight gasket leaks to address as well before these afternoon rain storms become commonplace.

Hahaha exactly

I didn’t think about it, but I should have added Twixxer and DikSok to that “No” symbol

I purchased the Digidizzy anyway.

I need a new valve cover to support it. Luckily I have extras in my hoard. So I’m going to get it anodized to look nice. I’m thinking about getting 2 of those done, and then also anodizing the neuspeed bars and ST sway bars too. Black is boring

Which one did you get for the digital distributor?

The version for the 1993 teg (stock B18a). The 1991 OBD0 version is not available (yet) according to the designer.

So your gonna convert the harness over from obd 0 to obd1 for the distributor?

rebuilding my distributor. the car’s been misfiring and looks like its been arcing at the ignition coil. new cap, coil, and rotor, and cleaning the contacts on the ICM. i’m going to use a little permatex copper and a little dielectric grease in places where it might be helpful. the big question will be to figure out what was causing it to arc.

Currently doing my timing belt and water pump. I managed to source some OEM cam and crank seals too, so I replaced those also. Turns out this job was more necessary than I originally realized with the current water pump is actively leaking coolant, and I’m assuming that for the entirety of my ownership the timing has been off a tooth too causing an occasional misfire.

I had my timing belt, tensioner, water pump, shocks/coilovers replaced, new stainless steel brake lines, bled the brake fluid, brake pads on all 4 corners, new spark plugs & NGK wires, and new fuel pump put in last month… replacing the oil pump now… will replace the fuel sending unit next week. Hope to have her back on the road & legal by next month.

Maybe in the future. Right now the 91 is running fine. Digidizzy is $900 so I can’t do 2 of that cost at once.

Yeah, when I replaced my oil pump, all the work done for my T-belt and water pump work had to be done again. Lining up the timing marks are important to avoid misfires. Be sure to clean off the oil on your spark plugs from the misfires.

i need to change my front driver brake hose its all cracked up from me replacing the strut and pulling on the hose.

Finally finished off the dizzy rebuild with some new plugs and wires. Drove perfectly for about 2 hours and now it’s sputtering again :downcast_face_with_sweat:

I’m telling you that distributor is just a PITA. Just like the EGR. If it’s not Honda that ECU no likey.
