285 hp with Gude head package?

I am thinking about getting a gude head package. I believe their kits come with a head, intake manifold, and tb. Does anyone have experience with these kits? Also should I get a high performance head gasket? Btw I have zex (55 shot), cai, and full exhaust. I have heard of people getting 60 hp from the gude, so take the stock 140 add 55 then add 60 and then 30 for the intake and full exhaust, will I ever see the 285hp?

30hp from an intake/exhaust? I wouldn’t count on that…

:flame:

word, 30hp from intake and exhaust, don’t count on it.

also just because the car is rated at 140hp stock, does not mean it will put down that much to the wheels. plus you can’t count in 55hp from a nitrous shot because you aren’t using that constantly.

you’ll be lucky to even make 200hp with those mods.

and thats base hp

285 bhp would be like 230 at the wheels… on an ls without block work and major head work that isnt going to happen.

dc says 12-14 hp, probably to get you to buy it, so 30 hp at the flywheel… spikeymike: It doesnt matter if I dont use it constantly, when I use it I will see the extra power.

12-14 hp, but on what car? Keep in mind that our engines are “backwards”. That extra bend in the exhaust manifold creates quite a bit of resistance compared to, lets say, a K-series motor.

So you think for the extra $1400 I should get a turbo? How does this one look like (the top one, turbonetics)? http://www.turbo-kits.com/integra_turbo_kits.html

yah u should

no way in hell u get 20-30 from intake and exhuast

fmax,drag,revhard
are amoung the good one before you custom it

drag/revhard i think are ac/ ps compat too
