Plan this week: Well I through out my shoulder doing - I don’t know - “living” (or maybe it’s a delayed effect from the fan install). I want to install Skunk2 upper control arms to fix this awful squeaking that’s going on (apparently bad ball joint).
Being as I’m in Az and all last winter I told myself I’d get the AC resintalled. I’m gonna be finishing that up. About 3 weeks ago I got everything installed and realized my manifold wasn’t the same diameter as the lines. Manifold being the part the Ac lines connect to on the compressor. Long story short there are some Ac line seals that I was told will help with the two different sizes. So I’m gonna install those and then try to figure out why the compressor clutch doesn’t kick on when I crank the AC. I know it doesn’t crank on because I did some Jerry rigging to see if those were my only leaks. Got them sealed (not the right way), serviced it in mexico at a family members (cheaper) and it still didn’t kick on. But yeah I’m gonna try to fit that in somewhere this week.
I need to do mine as well. I know that my interior switch is the issue though. I have so many of those switches and I need to test them all. Be wary that may the issue with it not turning on. I wish they had designed that switch better.
In other news: I got a DC Sports rear brace in the mail yesterday! That should be an easy install – I’ve been eyeing it for a while and the price was lower than I had ever seen it. It is built MUCH better than any of those universal rear braces. Looks better too.
Interior switch as in the button on the knob? Or something else under the dash? I figured it was either the pressure switch not sensing the proper pressure because I had it jerry rigged or the pressure switch itself being bad. I guess I’ll find out.
The button that you press for AC on the inside. Many years ago, the only way for me to get AC was to splice a wire on that switch inside because the compressor was NOT getting the signal to engage. That pretty much disabled the “fan only” running of the system, but it worked for a bit until some other issues appeared down the road that I never got around to diagnosing. (Probably the pressure switch)
This weekend not sure. I did however get it tuned this week. B20 b with a cat delete and intake. Made 130 hp and 130 tq. I do have a new dash and glove box to install. Still looking for a few parts though.
