after alittle less then 1,000 miles there was no oil again…what in the hell!

if im in my car i can not see ne smoke… - but ppl say it does smoke…not bluish but grey…and its not very bad…

so what the deal ???

oh and btw…i changed from 10/30 to 10/40 and that was the first time i noticeed dthe big drop in oil

neone got suggestions?

pull the spark plus wires & see if there is oil down in the holes… if so, you need new valve cover o-rings… they’re a few dollars for the set of 4 from honda and are an easy install… you should get a new main valve cover gasket at the same time too… that’s like $10-15.

Get under he car and check the oil pan and the oil pump seals. Also check to make sure your drain plug is sealing when you screw it back in. Usually a leaky drain plug will leave you a present in the driveway though. You would probably have noticed that already.
Change back to the original viscosity oil you were using. Sometimes a lighter weight oil will get by the piston rings and you will burn it faster than you realize.

looks like you are burning oil only in one cylinder, that is why it is not dark yet. Could be just bottom ring bad, not the upper compression rings. Any blueish ir greyish is a sign of oil burning. Normaly, it would be white water vapor, since the other gases(NO, NO2, Co, CO2 etc) are invisible. Easy 3 quarts in 1000 miles, especially in the city cycle. Had it myself.
Sorry to bring bad news.

Thanks alot for ur help

oil pan and drain plug are fine i checked them a few days ago

and i deliver pizzas so its alot of stop and go driving… - and it burns ALOT more when im getting on it rasing some hell

so u think its piston rings? if so im just gonna keep running it that way for a few more month untill it blows up by then i should have the money for a swap

IT COULD BE THE PISTON RINGS DO A COMPRESSION CHECK. THE ONE OR MORE CYLINDERS THAT ARE THE LOWEST SHOULD BE CHECKED. RINGS PLAY A BIG PART IN OIL COMPSUPION. ALSO PERHAPES CHECK THE CRANKCASE BREATHER.:defend: :defend:
