A few weeks ago my 25 year old tint on the passenger window started bubbling in the corner. Finally had a hot day yesterday to pull it off.
First of many removals so I can get some nice new stuff installed
I just dropped off the family car to get a replacement headliner installed. Mrs. NFULFX picked me up in her 1993. I asked the upholsterer how much it would be to reupholster the seats.

I have some pre-cut tint that I need to install still.
Heard the hatch is a pain to tint
I didn’t bother. I just bought the 4 windows.
MD made me remove my hatch tint back in 2011. Destroyed my heater lines. Sigh.
That is terrible. Sucks that you had to remove the hatch tint. It isn’t allowed in MD?
It is, but it was “too dark”. Very subjective - the guy didn’t even use one of those gauges. I couldn’t get a registration otherwise.
VA and MD hate car owners. I couldn’t wait to get outta there. FL leaves car owners alone. Much prefer it here.

Is that like, metalworking? Are you trying to use existing mounting points? I heard there were some under the black roof “rail” things.
I am unaware of any mounting points under the plastic drip rails. But i plan to moun it using a similar system that yakima used for their roof racks back then. But as for making it, yeah, its all metal working
