Thanks, yeah. I wanted to get their DWS06 Plus for all-season use, but apparently so did everyone else. They have like 7000 4.5 star reviews on Tire Rack, so I guess Continental didn’t expect the demand.
DWS 06 was a great tire on my wrx. I only switched to Michelin PS4s because I bought some new wheels that had those tires on it lol. Then winter tires went on the stock wheels.
ECS 02 is an awesome daily tire as long as you have a set of winter tires or a winter beater.
Yeah, I’m just going to have to have the winter/summer infrastructure in place.
I’m also picking up a QuickJack 600 so its much easier to do all the maintenance work.

That’s all I need. I’ve got a Q5, a DA9 and an Ioniq 5. I have to get rid of some of them. Probably I’ll sell the Ioniq. Its fun, but I’ve got too much cash tied up in it right now.

Kid wanted to do an antenna delete. Antenna was stuck in open position. Wouldnt retract. Ended up having to grab him the antenna tool. 3m tape came in for blower cover install. Likely be done this weekend.
But I gave you tape. You wanted more?
i mustve missed that. The box only had the cover.
It’s tucked in the underside of the part. Perhaps it got tangled with the brown paper packing.
Yeah likely. Threw packing material away. No worries. Im sure the 2 way tape will be needed for other projects later on.

It appears there is still some residual glue on the surface. Soap+water usually takes care of that if you want the carbon fiber look to show up more. Granted no one will be looking at this, but that should enhance the water sheeting effect.

We were just able to install the blower cover. Dont mind the pyrex cover, that was previously put there to test water entrance trouble shooting prior to us finding this forum.
Note to receiving customer. Make sure to check whole box and the paper packing to ensure you catch the double sided tape that was provided. Made the mistake of not looking and just tossing the filler paper/packing paper.
Question: Anyone else have the foam surrounding the plastic blower entry point? Not sure if thats what its called but it didnt seem like it belonged.
