3D printed phone holder adapter

I have not found a good phone holder for our cars that doesn’t fit naturally, meaning it’s not in the way, or attached in a way that will break something. Can someone design a phone holder adapter that would fit into the blank area next to the hvac controls? So not the actual phone mount, but a bracket that would support the weight of a selection of off-the-shelf holders.

Currently I mount my phone between the seats attached to the rear ashtray. It sits too far back though.

I’ve already broken my vent with a vent phone mount.

I’m using a suction cup style phone holder by the left lower corner of the driver side windshield.

That spot has a screw, but unfortunately I highly doubt it will support the weight a holder with a phone.

I have been using a windshield mounted suction cup to the left the driver. It mounts above the spot where the VIN badge is. Probably the same as @BATUO
