I picked up a bottle of this stuff at Wal-Mart hoping it would help my car. My car sat under a tree for ~7 years… I have tried the variety of waxes and polishes that I use for normal work… but none of them worked. I had been dreading using Mequire’s 3 step paint kit because it takes an entire day… and without KNOWING it would restore the shine of my car, I had a hard time working up the motivation.
At ~$7.00 for an 8 ounce bottle (roughly enough to do two cars by hand), the 3M product is EXCELLENT!!! No special tricks… just follow the directions and it really cleaned up the finish on my car and made it shine again!!!

I can finally post pictures of my car up on G2IC without being embarassed… and in the spring, I will be repainting my mirrors so the car will be looking very good…
