5 Lug Conversion (AP1 Rims)

Is it possible to do the 5 lug conversion on a da and use the s2000 ap1 rims?

yes.

Can I use my stock brakes and suspension or do I have to use the itr brakes?

Depends on how you do it. The “right” way is a good bit of work and in my opinion well worth it but in theory you could just bolt up the spindles and let it ride. Of course you now have to use the ITR Calipers, rotors, and pads. Everything else from brake lines, upper and lower control arms and all that good jazz bolt right up to it. Lots of people have debated the use of just switching spindles claiming the geometry changes to our suspension that the front spindles cause is unsafe for long term use. Next time search though please. I’ve found Google to be best because it gives options from just about every Honda forum you can think of. But I’m not one of those ass holes that tells you to search and doesn’t give you any useful information so here, check this link out. you know Ive heard people doing legend 5lug brake setup ups and some of the legends have dual pistons on the calipers…

Thanks man. I’m honestly wanting to do this so I can use the ap1 rims. I’m not doing it to have bigger brakes or anything, but if thats what I have to have to do this then thats cool ith me

You got the same reason I have so I understand where you’re coming from. Only difference is I have many sets of wheels I wish to use on my car and they all happen to be 5 lug. I go threw wheels like a fat kid with cake so hopefully I can get this done soon as well.

You will need spacers for front and back since AP1 wheels are staggered check my car out on my Instagram @Purediamondlights
